Terms of Service
Estimates and billing
All estimates are non-binding and based on the information you provide. Labor is billed hourly by crew size with a 3-hour minimum, plus a one-time $150 truck fee. Additional travel charges may apply outside the local service area. The final invoice reflects actual time worked.
Deposits and cancellations
Online bookings are held with a $200 deposit, paid securely through Square, that is applied to your final balance. Deposits are refundable when a move is cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Same day cancellations forfeit the deposit.
Items we cannot move
For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, ammunition, perishable food, live plants, pets, or cash and valuables. Please transport those items yourself.
Liability
KJ'S Moving Company is licensed and insured. Coverage applies to items packed and handled by our crew. Items packed by the customer, pressboard furniture, and pre-existing damage are excluded. Report any claim within 7 days of the move.
